What you'll be doing:
- Answering calls like a champ: Handle incoming calls from patients and other healthcare services on our busy switchboard. You'll be the voice of our practice, ensuring every call is answered quickly, carefully, and with a smile! 😃
- Navigating the appointment system: Book, change, and cancel appointments with ease, finding the perfect slot for everyone. 📅
- Greeting our guests: Welcome patients and visitors to the practice with warmth and efficiency. 👋
- Being a knowledge hub: Answer questions from patients and staff (including our amazing GPs, nurses, and medical secretaries) or smoothly direct them to the right person. 🧠
- Handling referrals: Process various patient referrals, connecting with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals. 🤝
- Managing repeat prescriptions: Ensure repeat prescription requests are actioned according to our policies. 💊
- Office wizardry: Help out with general office tasks like scanning, making outbound calls, electronic filing, and faxing. 📁
- Team player: Collaborate professionally with your colleagues, sharing essential information and keeping everyone in the loop. 👥
- Upholding our standards: Maintain a high level of customer service, treating everyone with dignity, respect, and professionalism. You'll be the embodiment of excellent service! 💯
You'll need:
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
