What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the tech guru supporting both North Walsham High School and Millfield Primary School. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

  • ⚡ Providing first-line IT support – troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity hiccups.
  • 🛠️ Installing, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, iPads, printers, and more.
  • 🔑 Creating and managing user accounts across Microsoft 365 and other cool systems.
  • 🔒 Helping to keep our Trust's network infrastructure secure and running smoothly.
  • 📚 Maintaining accurate IT asset inventories and equipment records.
  • 🛡️ Assisting with cyber security activities and spreading the word about safe tech use.
  • 🎤 Setting up and operating audio-visual equipment for school events.
  • ✍️ Creating and updating IT documentation to build our digital knowledge base.
  • 💡 Supporting IT-related projects and tech improvements across the Trust.
  • 🤝 Collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver top-notch IT services.

What We're Looking For:

  • 🤩 A serious passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving.
  • 🗣️ Great communication and customer service skills – you'll be helping people!
  • 📈 Being organised and able to juggle tasks effectively.
  • 💪 Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • 💡 A basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and Office applications.

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • *Important:* You shouldn't already have a qualification at the same or a higher level in a similar subject.
  • Got international qualifications? No problem! Just make sure you can provide official documentation comparing them to UK standards. 🌍

Working Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday-Thursday: 8am-4pm, Friday: 8am-3:30pm. ⏰
