What you'll be doing:

  • Office Essentials: Keep our workspace stocked and buzzing! โ˜•๏ธ You'll be ordering stationery, leaflets, staff ID badges, and making sure we always have those everyday must-haves like tea, coffee, milk, and toilet roll. ๐Ÿงป
  • Visitor Experience: Be the first point of contact! ๐ŸŒŸ Welcome visitors and guests with a friendly face and manage our office signing-in/out log.
  • Communication Hub: Handle incoming calls, check the answerphone, and ensure messages are taken and passed on accurately. ๐Ÿ“ž
  • Event Support: Get involved in the buzz of our events! ๐ŸŽ‰ You'll help set up and support fundraising events, assist with planning and promoting larger initiatives like Pride, and even represent Cornerhouse at information stalls and community gatherings.
  • Training & Bookings: Master our booking systems! ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ You'll manage training and meeting space bookings, including using Eventbrite and other online platforms.
  • Health & Safety Champion: Play a role in keeping everyone safe! โœ… Carry out routine alarm checks and support basic health and safety procedures, including fire marshal and first aid arrangements.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Get a peek behind the scenes of how we grow our team! ๐Ÿ’ผ Help advertise vacancies, manage applications, organise interviews, and provide administrative support for the recruitment process.
  • Social Media Savvy: Contribute to our online presence! ๐Ÿ“ฑ Help design and plan engaging social media posts, and manage messages and enquiries received through our social channels.
  • Resource Creation: Prepare essential materials for our team! ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ You'll be printing and laminating resources for staff.
  • Activity Support: Lend a hand where needed! ๐Ÿ†˜ Support the staffing of activities when required and list upcoming activities, like our Healthy Holidays programme, on online platforms like Eequ.
  • General Admin: Provide all-around administrative support across our various projects and services. ๐Ÿ“
