  • 🤝 Teamwork & Coordination: Work with awesome colleagues, overseas offices, carriers, and other partners to ensure shipments flow smoothly from start to finish.
  • 💻 System Savvy: Keep our internal systems up-to-date with shipment progress, delivery info, and customer instructions.
  • 💡 Problem Solver: Jump in to help the team with bookings, tackle any shipment queries, and find smart solutions.
  • 🎓 Apprentice Journey: Actively participate in training sessions and complete coursework as part of your International Freight Forwarding Specialist Apprenticeship Programme.

Key responsibilities

  • Taking part in planned training and completing coursework for the International Freight Forwarding Specialist Apprenticeship Programme
  • Learning about freight forwarding procedures, customs requirements and international transport arrangements
  • Preparing, checking and processing export documentation, shipment details and relevant records
  • Responding to customer enquiries by email and telephone, providing updates on export shipments
  • Assisting the team with booking arrangements, problem-solving and resolving shipment queries
