Ready to kickstart your journey in childcare? A welcoming nursery in Swindon, part of a cool, small chain, is on the hunt for a motivated Level 2 Early Years Apprentice to join their awesome team! π€©
What you'll be doing:
- Jumping right in and interacting with kids daily, helping to plan and run super fun activities. π§Έπ¨
- Creating a vibrant, cosy, and exciting environment where little ones can grow emotionally, socially, and educationally. π
- Providing all-around care under supervision β think nappy changes, feeding, and helping with personal care. π₯°
- Being a "key worker" for a small group of children, keeping track of their progress and planning their next adventures. π
- Supporting the personal and emotional needs of each unique child. β€οΈ
- Keeping children safe and ensuring their well-being is always the top priority. π‘οΈ
- Getting familiar with and sticking to all nursery policies and procedures. β
- Completing your training tasks on time, as guided by your Showcase Tutor. ποΈ
Important Stuff:
- Make sure you can get to the nursery every day before you apply! πΆββοΈπ
- Got Level 2 already or loads of experience? Sweet! We've got a Level 3 Diploma opportunity ready for you over 18 months. π
- You'll be working towards your NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner.
- Functional Skills in Maths and English are part of the deal (unless you're exempt).
- Your training will involve on-site visits and dedicated 4-hour study time for coursework.
