What You'll Be Doing:

  • Planning & Delivering Awesome Activities: Get hands-on with designing and running engaging educational and recreational programs for kids and teens. 🎨⚽️
  • Boosting Wellbeing: Help young people discover the joy of healthy eating 🍎 and staying active 🏃‍♀️, while also diving into exciting enrichment activities.
  • Building Connections: Forge genuine, supportive relationships with the young people you'll be working with. 🤗
  • Collaborating Effectively: Work alongside a fantastic team of staff, volunteers, and parents to ensure everyone's on the same page and we're all smashing our goals. 🤝
  • Creating a Welcoming Space: Foster a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment where every young person feels valued and heard. 🏡
  • Supporting a Range of Activities: Get involved in everything from creative sessions like writing and storytelling ✍️, to outdoor adventures like cycling 🚴, boating 🚣, sports 🏆, camping 🏕️, and even impactful social action projects. 🌎

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with diverse age groups, from 5 to 17 years old, and is eager to contribute to their development and enjoyment. 🚀

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver educational and/or recreational activities for children and young people.
  • Promote healthy nutrition and active lifestyles to improve young people's wellbeing.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with children, young people, staff, volunteers, parents and stakeholders.
  • Provide a welcoming, safe and informal learning environment for young people.
  • Support a range of indoor and outdoor activities for diverse age groups.
