Ready to kickstart your career in sports and make a real impact? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Apprentice Sports Coaches! You'll be right in the action, supporting the delivery of awesome sports, football sessions, physical activity, and educational programs for kids and teens. ⚽🤸♀️📚
You'll be working hand-in-hand with experienced coaches and PE pros, helping to set up, plan, and lead fun, safe, and inclusive sessions. Think school PE lessons, awesome breakfast and after-school clubs, exciting holiday camps, and cool community projects! 🚀
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
- Assisting with PE lessons and after-school activities.
- Delivering engaging football coaching sessions. 🥅
- Helping out at our super fun holiday camps and community initiatives.
- Getting equipment ready and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Supporting positive behaviour and making sure everyone feels welcome. 🤗
- Adapting activities to suit all abilities – everyone gets a chance to shine! ✨
- Building awesome relationships with kids, parents, schools, and our partners. 🤝
- Learning the ropes on session planning, safeguarding, risk assessments, and communication.
- Gaining experience in some basic admin and marketing tasks. 📝

Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of sport, physical activity, and education sessions.
- Assist with PE lessons, clubs, coaching, camps, and community projects.
- Help prepare equipment, support behaviour management, and encourage participation.
- Adapt activities for different abilities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, schools and partner organisations, and provide basic admin or marketing support.
