- Provide excellent personal care: assisting with hygiene, washing, dressing, and keeping nails and mouths healthy. π§Ό
- Manage medication safely and accurately β right person, right dose, right time. π
- Prepare delicious meals and assist with eating, respecting dietary needs. π
- Help out with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, ironing, and shopping. ποΈ
- Support people to enjoy active and social lives, whatever *they* want! πΆ
- Be a friendly face and companion to combat isolation. π€
- Collaborate with our Support Officers to plan and review care. π
- Keep accurate records of care, feedback, and any important info. βοΈ
- Report and record any concerns about well-being. π¨
- Support individuals in activities they find fun and meaningful, embracing their interests and choices. A willingness to try new things is essential for person-centred support! π¨
Your Apprenticeship Includes:
- No boring college classes! Your training is 100% work-based, with face-to-face sessions and remote check-ins with your dedicated Learner Coach every 6 weeks. Plus, you'll have a workplace mentor to guide you. π
- Gain Functional Skills in English and Maths if you don't have GCSEs or equivalents. π
- Progress reviews every 12 weeks with you, your manager, and your Learner Coach. π

Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent care and support to each individual.
- Provide excellent quality personal care, including washing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Manage medication according to individual needs, ensuring correct dosage and timing.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating, adhering to dietary requirements.
- Support individuals to take part in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
