What You'll Be Doing:
- 🤝 Team Up: Work alongside a dedicated buddy and become an integral part of our team, planning, monitoring, and evaluating fun and engaging activities for children aged 0-5.
- 🌟 Become a Key Person: Develop the skills to take on the responsibility of a key person, nurturing and supporting the children in your care.
- 🧠 Learn & Grow: Attend fantastic training days with our trusted providers to build your expertise.
- 💡 Create Magic: Help maintain a stimulating and inclusive environment, from room layout to vibrant displays, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
- ✅ Stay Sharp: Assist with essential daily, weekly, and monthly checks around the nursery.
- 🛡️ Child Safety First: Your top priority is always safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of every child in the room.
- 📚 Master the EYFS: Work towards adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
- 🧑🏫 Support & Learn: Assist qualified staff with daily routines and learn the practical skills of a nursery nurse by working alongside the team.
- 💖 Deliver Quality Care: Gain hands-on experience in providing high-quality childcare.
- 👍 Safety Champion: Understand the critical importance of keeping everyone safe and your role in it.
- 🚫 Never Unsupervised: Always work within guidelines and never be left unsupervised with children.
- 📈 Understand Development: Gain a deep understanding of child development and how it shapes exceptional care.
- 📝 Document Progress: Contribute to and complete children's observations and records as needed.
Who We're Looking For:
- 😊 Passion for Kids: A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- 💪 Dedicated & Committed: The drive and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship.
- 📚 Academic Foundation: A C grade in GCSE Maths or English, or a willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside your apprenticeship.
- 💬 Great Communicator: Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, treating everyone – colleagues and children alike – with respect and care at all times.

Key responsibilities
