Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of little ones? Join our amazing Tiny Acorns team as a Nursery Practitioner! You'll be at the heart of our nursery, supporting daily activities and creating a super safe and nurturing space for all our kiddos. ๐
You'll team up with our lead educators to help each child grow, learn, and thrive. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and is excited to be part of their journey. ๐ฑ We're even offering support to complete a Childcare Apprenticeship while you work with us! ๐
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping a watchful eye and joining in the fun during playtime, making sure everyone is safe and happy. ๐
- Chatting with the kids, boosting their social skills, and helping them understand their feelings. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Being the daily go-to for parents, sharing all the awesome progress their little one is making, including at parent evenings. ๐๏ธ
- Helping out with daily routines like mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygiene. ๐๐ด
- Keeping our nursery super clean and organised, with all equipment safe and ready for action. ๐งน
- Working with your colleagues to create a vibrant, positive vibe where learning and growing are a blast! ๐
- Guiding behaviour with our nursery policies, encouraging positive friendships. ๐
- Bringing creative play ideas to life to boost the children's learning adventures. ๐จ
- Writing up cool observations about your key children to build their learning journey and support their next steps. ๐

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
- Communicate with parents daily and at parents evenings, sharing information regarding their child's development.
- Support children in their daily routines, including meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
