About the role

Kick-start your legal career with our Solicitor Apprenticeship (Level 7)! 🚀 This is your chance to gain the qualifications and experience needed to become a fully qualified solicitor. Designed for school leavers ready to dive into the legal world, this programme is a fast-track to success. 💼

The Programme: Your Six-Year Journey

Our comprehensive six-year programme blends hands-on experience with academic excellence, equipping you with essential skills and deep legal knowledge. 🧠

• Academic Study: Dedicate one day each week to your studies at The University of Law, working towards your law degree and Solicitors Qualifying Exams. 📚
• Fully Funded: We cover all tuition and exam fees! Plus, you'll earn a salary throughout the entire programme. 💰
• Practical Experience: Start in our Legal Matter Support team for your first year, followed by three 12-month placements across diverse legal departments. The final two years involve training contract rotations. This structure offers a broad and in-depth understanding of various legal areas, preparing you thoroughly for qualification. ⚖️

Where and When?

• Next Intake: September 2027, joining our London office.
• Future Intake: We recruit in Bristol and London in alternate years. The following intake will be in our Bristol office in September 2028.

The Application Process: Your Path to RPC

1. Online Application: Begin with our straightforward online application form.

2. Early Talent Assessment (from September 2025): Our unique online assessment is designed specifically for RPC. It delves into your strengths, problem-solving skills, and motivations through behavioural, cognitive, and motivational exercises. You'll even receive a personalised feedback report to support your growth! 🌱 (Prep Hub guidance is available!)

3. In-Person Assessment Day (February half term): If shortlisted, you'll attend an in-person assessment day at our London office. Engage in various exercises, meet our Partners, Associates, and current Apprentices for an authentic glimpse into life at RPC. 🤝

Eligibility: Are You Ready?

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (including Maths and English).
• A minimum of 120 UCAS points (we accept any qualifications that accrue UCAS points).
• You should be in your final year of school (Year 13) or have completed your studies. Non-law graduates are also welcome to apply!
