About the Role 🧑💻
Step into our Data Engineering team and become a pro at delivering robust data engineering solutions and pipelines across diverse and complex client datasets. You'll collaborate closely with client services, fellow data engineers, business analysts, delivery managers, and data scientists, gaining invaluable experience every step of the way.
What You'll Master 📚
- Data Pipeline Creation: Learn to build and deliver sophisticated data engineering pipelines to power client data products, reporting, and analytics.
- Client Needs Translation: Understand client requirements and effectively translate them into practical, technology-driven solutions.
- Diverse Data Sources: Work with a variety of data, including CRM, sales, real-time feeds, and unstructured data.
- Coding Powerhouses: Get hands-on with Python (or C#) and essential libraries for data processing and manipulation.
- Database Mastery: Explore SQL and NoSQL technologies like Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MySQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
- Cloud & DevOps: Gain expertise in Databricks and Azure DevOps.
- ETL/ELT Tools: Become proficient with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Data Ingestion: Over time, contribute to building and configuring data ingestion methods from APIs, flat files, streaming data, public sources, and surveys.
- Data Product Development: Help collate and extract data to create valuable data products for marketing, reporting, and AI initiatives.

Entry Requirements 🎓
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area (any grade accepted). This includes:
- Two A levels in one or more similar subject*
- Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
- International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject
- BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject
- Experience with programming languages (like Python) OR equivalent work experience (2-3 years in a similar subject-related role).
- *'Similar subject' refers to areas directly relevant to 'Digital and Technology Solutions,' such as Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.
Important Note: You must not already hold a qualification at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
Your Week at Transform ⏰
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
