  • Manufacturing Mastery: Preparing, controlling, contributing to, and successfully completing manufacturing operations. You'll be following established processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) like a boss, all while sticking to our super important safety policies and procedures. 🤝
  • Hitting Your Goals: Working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and smashing those targets. 🎯
  • Safety First, Always: Maintaining all health and safety requirements. This means rocking the right Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.), using equipment and tools correctly, knowing how to safely stop and reset machinery, keeping your workspace tidy, and making sure waste is disposed of responsibly, following all environmental rules. ⛑️✅
  • Level Up the Operation: Contributing to and supporting improvements in our manufacturing process. You'll be diving into continuous improvement methods, using lean principles for process visualization, and applying problem-solving tools and techniques. Think of it as making our operations even more epic! ✨
  • Quality Champion: Performing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure top-notch quality is built in from the start. You'll be flagging any defects or concerns and addressing them according to our strict quality standards. 💯

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, control, contribute to and complete manufacturing operations, following processes and SOPs, and adhering to safe working policies.
  • Maintain health and safety requirements, including correct PPE use, equipment handling, and safe waste disposal.
  • Contribute to, develop, and support improvement in manufacturing operations using continuous improvement methods and problem-solving tools.
  • Carry out quality checks throughout manufacturing operations, highlighting and addressing defects in line with relevant quality standards.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (Maths (grade 3), Maths (grade 3)), Functional Skills in: (English (grade Level 1), Maths (grade Level 1))
