This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and earn while you learn through a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification with City & Guilds. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

• Chair-side support: Assist dentists during treatments, providing efficient and reliable support. 🧑‍⚕️
• Sterilisation & preparation: Ensure all equipment is clean, sterilised, and ready for use. 🧽
• Patient experience: Support our patients' wellbeing, making their dental visits as comfortable and positive as possible. 😊
• Reception duties: Help with administrative tasks, including managing patient records. 📝
• Practice support: Contribute to keeping our dental areas clean and organised, and manage stock of essential supplies. 📦

This role involves:

• Providing excellent patient care and supporting dentists.
• Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Ensuring a positive and supportive environment for patients.
• Managing dental surgery cleanliness and stock.
• Undertaking any other duties required to support the dental team.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
• Willingness to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. 💉
• Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard.
• Training will be delivered at the dental surgery. 🏢
• Functional Skills training may be provided if needed. 📚
