What you'll need:

  • A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. βœ…
  • To be working towards your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. πŸ“š

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person to a group of children, offering appropriate support and stimulating play experiences.
  • Liaise closely and work in partnership with parents/carers to ensure each child's needs are met.
  • Ensure children are kept safe and understand when to follow child protection procedures.
  • Advise the manager of any concerns regarding children's well-being, parents, or equipment safety, preserving confidentiality.
  • Actively participate in team, supervision, and appraisal meetings, and attend required training for personal development.
