Early Years Educator ✨

Playhouse Montessori is looking for a super enthusiastic individual with a genuine love for helping young kids grow and learn! 🌱 Join our awesome and supportive team and make a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Being a "key person" for a small group of little ones (aged 3 months to 5 years) 🧸
  • Making learning an absolute blast and super enjoyable for the kids! 🚀
  • Keeping parents and carers in the loop and building awesome relationships with them. 🤝
  • Working hand-in-hand with parents and families to support each child's unique journey. 🌟
  • Keeping our Manager up-to-date on anything important like a child's well-being, parent updates, or equipment safety (always with discretion, of course!). 🤫
  • Providing fun and stimulating play experiences, tailored to each child's needs. 🎨
  • Ensuring every child is safe and knowing how to follow child protection guidelines. 🛡️
  • Jumping into team meetings, supervision, and appraisal sessions. 🗣️
  • Taking charge of your own learning and development, with training provided right here on-site! 🎓

Bonus Points:

  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English (if this applies to you!) ✅

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting children aged 3 months to 5 years, facilitating enjoyable learning experiences.
  • Acting as a key person for a small group of children, building effective relationships with parents/carers and ensuring children's needs are met.
  • Ensuring children are kept safe and understanding when to follow child protection procedures.
  • Advising the manager of any concerns regarding the health, well-being of children or parents, or the safety of equipment, whilst preserving confidentiality.
  • Actively participating in team meetings, supervision, appraisal meetings, and taking responsibility for personal development and training.
