About the role
Are you all about giving little humans the ultimate glow-up from day one? ✨ Strong Tower Day Nursery is searching for some serious heart-gems – caring, dedicated, and totally hyped individuals to join our squad! 🚀 You'll be the sunshine for kiddos aged 9 months to 5 years, making learning an absolute blast as a Key Person for your own awesome crew. 🧸 Get ready to connect with parents/carers, making sure every tiny human’s unique vibes are seen and celebrated. 🎉 We’re all about teamwork, so partnering with families is a huge part of the gig. 🤝 Keeping our little ones safe and happy is paramount, so we’ll need you to be sharp on child protection procedures and quick to flag any concerns (confidentiality is key! 🤫). You'll be creating engaging play experiences and offering just the right amount of support. 🧠 Plus, we’ll need you to jump into team meetings, embrace personal development 📈, and crush any required training. 📚 A DBS check is a must. 💯 We’re offering an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship with on-site training! 💪 Bonus points if you can nail Level 2 Maths & English functional skills. 🤓
Key responsibilities
- Support children aged 9 months to 5 years.
- Act as a key person to a small group of children, making learning fun.
- Liaise closely and build effective relationships with parents/carers.
- Ensure children are kept safe and follow child protection procedures.
- Advise the manager of any concerns and actively participate in team meetings.
