What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting awesome kids aged 9 months to 5 years. πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘§
  • Being a "Key Person" for a small group of children, making learning an absolute blast! πŸŽ‰
  • Building cool relationships with parents/carers and making sure every child's unique needs are spotted and totally met. 🀝
  • Working with parents and families like a pro! πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦
  • Keeping our manager in the loop about anything important – child well-being, safety concerns, etc. (confidentiality is key!). 🀫
  • Inspiring children with fun, supportive, and stimulating play and learning experiences. 🎨
  • Being a guardian of safety, understanding child protection procedures like a boss. πŸ›‘οΈ
  • Chipping in at team meetings, supervision, and appraisals. πŸ—£οΈ
  • Always growing and learning – attending training and taking charge of your own development. 🌱

Bonus points if you:

  • Have completed or are working towards an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. πŸŽ“
  • Can pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. βœ…

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person for a small group of children, liaising with parents/carers.
  • Support and teach children aged 9 months to 5 years, providing stimulating play experiences.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children, following all child protection procedures.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
  • Participate in team meetings and training for continuous personal development.
