What you'll be doing:

  • Being a "Key Person" for a small group of children, making learning a blast and super fun! πŸŽ‰
  • Building awesome connections with parents and carers, keeping them in the loop. πŸ—£οΈ
  • Working closely with families to make sure every child's needs are spotted and totally met. πŸ’–
  • Sharing brilliant ideas with the Manager about anything from child well-being to equipment safety, always keeping things confidential. 🀫
  • Teaching and inspiring children with engaging play experiences. 🎨
  • Being a guardian of safety, understanding and following child protection procedures. πŸ›‘οΈ
  • Jumping into team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals with energy! 🀝

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person to a group of children, ensuring their needs are recognised and met.
  • Liaise closely and build effective relationships with parents/carers, working in partnership with them.
  • Teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences.
  • Ensure children are kept safe and follow child protection procedures.
  • Actively participate in team, supervision, and appraisal meetings, and attend required training courses.
