Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person to a group of children, building relationships with parents/carers and meeting individual needs.
  • Teach children, offering appropriate support and stimulating play experiences.
  • Ensure children's safety and follow child protection procedures.
  • Advise the manager of concerns regarding health, well-being of children/parents, or equipment safety.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and take responsibility for personal development.
