What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting and nurturing our amazing little learners, aged 6 months to 5 years. 🧸
  • Becoming a "Key Person" for a small group of children, making every learning experience fun and engaging! 🎉
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them in the loop and ensuring every child's unique needs are met and celebrated. 💖
  • Collaborating with parents, carers, and families to create the best environment for our children. 🤝
  • Being a proactive member of our team, sharing any important insights with the manager regarding children's well-being, safety, or equipment. 🧠
  • Delivering engaging and stimulating play-based learning experiences tailored to each child's stage of development. 🎨
  • Championing child safety and understanding how to follow crucial child protection procedures. 🛡️
  • Actively contributing to team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals. 🗣️
  • Committing to your own growth by attending training and embracing personal development opportunities. 🚀

What you'll need:

  • To pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
  • Enthusiasm for the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. 📚
  • A willingness to learn and grow! 🌱

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting children aged 6 months to 5 years.
  • Acting as a key person to a small group of children.
  • Liaising closely with parents/carers, building effective relationships, and ensuring each child's needs are met.
  • Teaching children, offering appropriate support and stimulating play experiences.
  • Ensuring child safety, following child protection procedures, and advising the manager of any concerns.
