About the role

Are you all about giving little humans the ultimate glow-up from day one? ✨ This super-chill nursery is on the hunt for awesome, caring, and energetic peeps to join their vibrant squad! 🚀

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Mentoring and supporting our incredible little ones aged 1 month to 5 years. 👶➡️🧒
  • Becoming the go-to person (Key Person!) for a special crew of kids, making learning an epic adventure. 🎮📚
  • Chilling and connecting with parents and carers, building awesome relationships. 🤝
  • Making sure every child's unique needs are spotted and totally smashed. ✅
  • Teaming up with parents and families to create a supportive network. 🏡
  • Being our eyes and ears – reporting any concerns (health, well-being, safety) to the manager, always keeping things confidential. 🤫
  • Delivering engaging, age-appropriate support and super-fun play experiences. 🎨🎶
  • Keeping our little stars safe and sound, and knowing the drill for child protection procedures. 🛡️
  • Getting involved in team huddles, one-on-ones, and performance chats. 🗣️
  • Leveling up your skills with required training and owning your personal growth journey. 🌱

What You'll Need:

  • A super positive vibe and a genuine passion for early years education. 🥰
  • To pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. 💯
  • We'll be hooking you up with the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Training, all done right here on-site! 🎓📍

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting children aged 1 month to 5 years.
  • Acting as a key person to a group of children, offering stimulating play experiences.
  • Liaising with parents/carers, building effective relationships and working in partnership.
  • Ensuring children's safety, understanding child protection procedures and advising the manager of concerns.
  • Actively participating in meetings and taking responsibility for personal development.
