What you'll be doing:

  • Be the go-to person (Key Person) for a special group of little ones (aged 9 months to 5 years) and make learning an absolute blast! 🎉
  • Build awesome connections with parents and carers, making sure every child's unique needs are seen and met. 🤝
  • Team up with families to create a super supportive environment for our kids.
  • Keep our manager in the loop about anything important – like a child's well-being or playground safety – and always respect confidentiality. 🤫
  • Spark curiosity and encourage playful learning with age-appropriate activities.
  • Champion child safety and know exactly what to do to protect our little superstars. 🛡️
  • Jump into team meetings, have supportive supervision sessions, and actively contribute to your growth.
  • Be ready to learn and grow! You'll attend training sessions and take charge of your own development. 📚

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person to a group of children, supporting their learning and development.
  • Liaise closely and build effective relationships with parents/carers.
  • Ensure children are kept safe, understanding and following child protection procedures.
  • Advise the manager of any concerns regarding the health, well-being of children, parents, or equipment safety.
  • Actively participate in team and supervision meetings, engaging in personal development through required training.
