About the Role:
Jump into your IT journey as an IT Support Apprentice! You'll be a key first contact for customers needing tech help. Working alongside our supportive service desk team, you'll master logging, investigating, and resolving support requests, all while keeping customers in the loop. π£οΈ You'll be part of a close-knit, growing team, giving you direct access to experienced engineers and leaders. What You'll Be Doing:
- Answering incoming support calls and responding to emails and service desk requests. π
- Accurately logging incidents, service requests, and changes in our ticketing system. βοΈ
- Keeping customers updated clearly and professionally, using everyday language. π
- Providing first-line support for Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Windows, and common business applications. π₯οΈ
- Assisting with password resets, account setup, access changes, and onboarding/offboarding users. π§βπ»
Skills That'll Make You Shine (Desirable):
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, or Microsoft Teams. π
- Experience building, upgrading, or troubleshooting computers or home networks. π οΈ
- A keen interest in cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, or telecoms. π‘
What You'll Need:
- To work full-time from our Coventry office. π’
- A UK driving licence (future customer visits might be needed). π
- A DBS check will be completed. β
- A genuine passion for IT, technology, and helping people! β€οΈ
Entry Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Important: You shouldn't already hold a qualification at the same or a higher level in a similar subject.
- Have qualifications and/or experience that show you meet the basic requirements? You might still be considered! π
- If you have international qualifications, you'll need an official document comparing them to UK standards. π
Your Working Week:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. ποΈ
