About the Role ✨

We're on the hunt for a super motivated and enthusiastic Digital Support Apprentice to join our awesome team. If you're into tech, digital systems, and love helping people out, this is the perfect gig for you! You'll become a pro with the practice's key healthcare apps, helping out colleagues with our digital tools and making sure all info is spot on and secure. πŸ”

You’ll be working towards a Digital Applications Support SCQF Level 6 qualification, getting real-world experience in supporting users, managing digital tasks, keeping data top-notch, and helping us improve things across the practice.

What You'll Be Doing πŸ› οΈ

  • Be the go-to person for colleagues and patients needing help with digital systems, pointing them in the right direction if needed.
  • Become a wizard with our main digital apps: Docman, EMIS Web, Vision, SCI Gateway, AccuRx, eConsult, NHS Mail, and other clinical/business systems. πŸ’»
  • Sort through digital messages, clinical tasks, system alerts, and electronic documents to make sure they’re handled correctly.
  • Help colleagues make the most of our digital apps and share best practices.
  • Keep electronic patient records accurate and up-to-date using our systems.
  • Do data quality checks across different platforms, fixing any issues to ensure records are perfect. βœ…
  • Help with patient sign-ups, managing records, and healthcare services using digital tools.
  • Keep an eye on shared inboxes, tasks, and system queues, making sure everything is tracked and done.
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and trackers from system data to help us run smoothly.
  • Help organise digital documents, guides, and resources.
  • Provide first-level support for digital apps and devices, escalating tricky tech problems when needed.
  • Back up digital improvement projects and new tech rollouts, making things better for everyone. πŸ‘
  • Team up with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure systems are used brilliantly.
  • Learn all about healthcare tech, cyber security, information rules, data protection, and digital best practices. πŸ€“
