As a key member of our team, you'll be the go-to person for a group of children, building strong relationships with their parents and carers. Your mission will be to ensure every childβs unique needs are seen, understood, and met, creating a nurturing space for them to grow and learn. π± You'll also collaborate closely with parents, carers, and other family members, working together to support each child's journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building Connections: Developing effective relationships with parents and carers, fostering a partnership that benefits the child. π€
- Child Advocacy: Being a voice for the children, identifying and addressing their individual needs with care and attention. π
- Team Collaboration: Sharing important information with the Manager regarding the health, well-being, and safety of children, parents, or equipment, always maintaining confidentiality. π€«
- Engaging Learning: Providing stimulating play experiences and appropriate support to help children learn and develop. π§
- Safety First: Ensuring the safety of all children and understanding and adhering to child protection procedures. π‘οΈ
- Professional Growth: Actively participating in team, supervision, and appraisal meetings, and taking responsibility for your own professional development through required training. π

Key responsibilities
- Act as a key person for children and build relationships with parents/carers.
- Advise the manager of any concerns regarding child well-being or equipment safety.
- Teach and support children through stimulating play experiences.
- Ensure child safety and adhere to child protection procedures.
- Actively participate in meetings and attend required training for personal development.
