You'll be instrumental in supporting our students' individual learning needs, modelling positive social skills, and guiding them to make smart choices and build essential thinking skills. 🧠
What you'll be doing:
- One-on-One & Small Group Support: Work closely with students, especially those with Education Health Care Plans, under the guidance of teachers. 🤝
- Behaviour Management: Collaborate with teaching staff to manage behaviour effectively, encouraging positive choices within our Behaviour Policy. ✨
- Literacy & Numeracy Boost: Focus on enhancing students' literacy and numeracy skills, building their resilience and perseverance across the curriculum. 📚🔢
- Motivation & Problem-Solving: Inspire students to engage with learning tasks, demonstrating problem-solving skills and helping them overcome learning barriers. 💪
- Restorative Practices: Contribute to a positive school ethos by supporting students in making good decisions and developing self-management strategies. 🌟
- Pastoral Care: Provide crucial pastoral support, including liaising with parents/carers. 🏡
- Learning Environment: Help create stimulating, safe, and visually engaging learning environments. 🎨
- Record Keeping: Accurately manage and record important information on behaviour and achievement. 📝
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily briefings, debriefings, and staff meetings. 🗣️
- Professional Development: Engage with ongoing training and apply new skills. 📈
- School Policies: Uphold all school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equal opportunities. ✅
- Team Teach: Adhere to Team Teach procedures to ensure everyone's health and safety. 🧑⚕️

- Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. 💯
