Ready to dive into the world of finance and make a real impact? We're looking for ambitious individuals to join our Tax team as Higher Apprentices! 💼
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be working towards your Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician qualification with First Intuition, blending awesome academic learning with hands-on experience in a super dynamic environment. You’ll be part of our experienced tax team, getting a crash course in both direct and indirect taxes. 📊 We’ll help you build your technical smarts and level up your skills in communication, organisation, problem-solving, and using cool financial systems like SAP.
You'll gain knowledge and practical skills in:
- Technical Accounting 🤓
- Management Accounting 📈
- Business Awareness 🤔

- Regulations & Compliance 📜
- Leadership & Professional Scepticism 💪
Plus, you'll get hands-on experience with tasks like:
- Helping with VAT returns 🧾
- Assisting with indirect tax processes (think Plastic Packaging Tax and more!) 📦
- Keeping tax coding accurate through research 🔬
- Supporting corporate and international tax efforts 🌍
- Helping with customs duties and balance sheet reconciliations 🧮
- Crunching financial data in SAP for reports 💻
You'll have the full support of our finance pros as you tackle real business challenges, ensuring everything is accurate and compliant. Get ready to boost your communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills!
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above, including English. Maths at grade 6 or above is a must! 💯
- Three A-levels or equivalent at A*-C (achieved or predicted) – General Studies doesn't count. 📚
- You’re organised, can juggle tasks and deadlines like a pro. 🤹
- You've got a keen eye for detail and a serious appetite for learning. 👀
- You’re a great communicator and a team player. 🤝
- Positive vibes and a willingness to embrace new challenges! ✨
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus. 🖱️
