The Role: Level 3 Food & Drink Maintenance Engineer Qualification 🎓
Starting Salary: £23,809 per year 💰
Time Off: 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays 🎉
Are you ready to kickstart an engineering career and be part of making Britain's favourite treats? We're on the hunt for two enthusiastic Apprentice Engineers to join our super-skilled production engineering crew at Moreton, the place where the magic happens for Cadbury Mini Rolls and cakes! 🤩
This isn't just any apprenticeship. You'll dive into the exciting world of food engineering, a field packed with all the skills you need for today's advanced automated manufacturing. Our site is already super modern and techy, and we're only investing more in awesome new systems and equipment! 🚀
What You'll Be Doing:
- Year 1: Full-time at college, learning the ropes! 📚 During college holidays, you'll be on-site, putting your new skills to the test in the real world.
- Years 2 & 3: You'll be spending most of your time on-site, working alongside experienced engineers who will mentor and guide you. Get ready for hands-on experience, building your technical skills and becoming a whiz at problem-solving. You'll still hit the books with block release at college. 👨🔧👩🔧
- Years 4 & 5: You might even move onto shifts as part of our dedicated engineering team – yes, that could include nights! 🌙 Your performance will be assessed to see if you're ready for even more qualifications to boost your career here.
- After the Apprenticeship: You'll graduate as a fully qualified, multi-skilled engineer! ✨
What We Need From You:
- At least 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above, including Maths, Science, and English. 💯
- A genuine passion for engineering, technology, and of course, food! 🍔
- Loads of drive, enthusiasm, and a commitment to learning and growing. 🌱
- Great communication skills – you'll be connecting with colleagues across the site and group. 🗣️
- A willingness to work shifts (days, nights, and weekends). ⏰
