What you'll be doing:

• Be a key player in our information security certification journey. ✨
• Help manage our GRC platform day-to-day: uploading evidence, tracking tasks, monitoring controls, and keeping an eye on certification progress. ✅
• Assist in keeping our policies, procedures, and important documents up-to-date. 📝
• Chase down compliance actions to ensure everything's completed on time. 🏃‍♀️
• Gear up for audits, assessments, and certification reviews. 🧐
• Maintain essential records: security controls, exceptions, risks, incidents, and improvement plans. 📊
• Help keep us compliant *after* we're certified, not just during the initial project. 💯

What you'll bring:

• A burning technical curiosity and a desire to learn about cloud services, Linux systems, device management, and security controls. 💡
• A genuine interest in information security, compliance, governance, or risk management. 🧠
• A foundational understanding of information security principles. 🛡️
• Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, or SOC 2 is a bonus! 🏅
• Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), cloud services, identity management, or endpoint management would be awesome. 💻

Your qualifications:

• An A Level in ICT.
• OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT.
• OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
• OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits).
• A mix of qualifications and experience that shows you've got the basics covered can also be considered! We're flexible. 🙌
• If your qualifications are from outside the UK, please ensure you can provide official documentation comparing them to UK standards. 🌍

Key responsibilities

• Support the company’s information security certification process
