π IT Workshop Apprentice @ Microminder β Level 3 π
Ready to dive into the exciting world of IT? π» Microminder is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Workshop Team as IT Workshop Apprentices! This is your chance to gain real, hands-on experience in a supportive environment thatβs proven to turn apprentices into full-time pros. Weβre a fast-expanding IT service provider with a massive client base, and youβll be a key player in our Greenford head office.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Helping the Workshop Team keep things running smoothly, from organising deliveries of essential stock to engineers. π¦
- Getting hands-on with serial numbers, configuring, testing, and building PCs. π οΈ
- Assisting our brilliant Engineers with hardware and software installations, and even joining them on callouts β don't forget to complete those important reports! π
- Stepping up to help out on the Support Desk when needed. π
- Managing returns, troubleshooting faults, and making sure all repair paperwork is spot on. β
- Lending a hand to our Stock Controller with dispatching goods, booking in new items, and assigning them to engineers or clients. π
What You'll Need:
- Solid computer skills, including the ins and outs of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. π
- A sharp mind for problem-solving. π€
- Awesome communication and listening skills β we love teamwork! π£οΈπ
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week. β°
Entry Requirements:
- You'll need 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Important: This apprenticeship is for those who haven't already got a qualification in a similar subject at the same or a higher level.
