AI & Digital Support Apprentice π
Hey there! π Brash Solutions is on the hunt for a super bright, friendly, and enthusiastic AI & Digital Support Apprentice to join our awesome team in Berkhamsted. If you're ready to dive into the world of IT and help people out, this is your chance!
You'll be working with a small but mighty team of Support Technicians, taking calls from our clients' staff and solving all sorts of IT puzzles. Think software glitches, hardware hiccups, internet woes, printer problems, phone issues β the whole shebang! π» You'll be the one troubleshooting, and where possible, fixing problems by guiding users through solutions over the phone or using cool remote access tools to get things sorted ASAP. If a challenge is too big, no worries β you'll escalate it with all the info and learn from the best to level up your skills. π
Our clients rock a mix of IT gear, from Windows servers to Mac laptops, but mostly Windows desktops. Weβre all about working closely with clients and other pros to deliver top-notch IT support. Plus, there might be occasional trips to other business sites to lend a hand with IT or chat through clients' AI/Digital needs. π
What You'll Be Doing:
- Being the friendly face of IT when users are facing tech drama. π
- Taking requests via email, our ticketing system, and phone calls. ππ§
- Crushing challenging SLA goals, logging every bit of time and work. β±οΈ
- Getting stuck into initial troubleshooting super fast. β‘
- Keeping an eye on the support ticket system for anything urgent or needing escalation. π
- Building and maintaining desktop/laptop PCs/Macs and Windows Servers. π οΈ
- Following and applying all the IT policies and procedures for each client. π
- Helping and advising clients on their digital and AI goals. π‘
- Figuring out and fixing hardware and software faults. π§©
- Performing system health checks. β
- Supporting software and apps. π±
You'll Get Your Hands On:
- Using AI tools to automate tasks and make life easier. π€
- Managing and deploying AI projects and automations. β¨
- Microsoft Office 365: Tenant setup, configuration, and administration. π
- Microsoft Azure: Basic navigation, setup, and configuration. βοΈ
- Windows 11: 1st/2nd/3rd line troubleshooting, setup, and configuration. π
- Apple: macOS and iOS troubleshooting, setup, and configuration. π
- Microsoft Office Suite: Troubleshooting, with awesome Outlook, Excel, and Word skills. π
- Website Domain & DNS Management. π
- Firewall setups, maintenance, and configuration; Router configuration, port forwarding, and VPNs. π
What You'll Need:
- A serious passion for digital IT, with a knack for learning fast and adapting your skills. π±
- Previous experience in a buzzing, customer-facing role is a bonus! π

Entry Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Important: You can't have an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject to this apprenticeship.
- Got a mix of qualifications and experience that shows you've got the foundation? You could still be considered!
- If you have international qualifications, you'll need an official document showing how they compare to UK qualifications when you apply.
Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
