Your Mission:
As our Junior Data Analyst, you'll be the go-to person for unlocking valuable business insights by digging into complex data. Youβll be creating and maintaining reports that help managers and supervisors make smarter decisions and drive continuous improvement across the company. π§ π‘
What You'll Be Doing:
- Crafting awesome reporting packages and data models using Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI to turn raw data into clear insights. β¨
- Building eye-catching dashboards and visual reports that make business performance and operations easy to understand. π
- Keeping our existing reports in top shape, making them even better. π―
- Chatting with department managers and supervisors to get their reporting needs and delivering spot-on analytical insights. π£οΈ
- Presenting your findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders like a pro. π
- Making sure our data is clean and accurate for reliable reporting. β
- Helping us constantly improve our data analysis and reporting game. π
What You'll Need:
- Seriously strong maths and IT skills. π€
- The ability to manage your own workload like a boss and juggle tasks. π€Ή
- Staying cool under pressure and meeting those deadlines. β±οΈ
- Killer communication skills, both talking and writing. βοΈ
- Confidence to chat with anyone, at any level. π
- An eagle eye for detail and accuracy. π
- Awesome people skills to build great relationships. π€
- Super organised and excellent time management. ποΈ
- Advanced Excel wizardry. π§ββοΈ
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Power BI. π
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). π»
Qualifications & Experience:
- A-Level Mathematics (Grade 4+) or equivalent. β
- GCSE English (Grade 4+) or equivalent. π
- A genuine passion for data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. β€οΈ
- A relevant apprenticeship, qualification, or hands-on experience in data analysis would be a huge plus! π
- If your qualifications are international, youβll need official documentation showing how they compare to UK standards. π
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python and/or SQL. πποΈ
- Level 3 Data Essentials Apprenticeship or Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. π
The Deal:
- Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. β°
