What's the Gig?
This is your chance to train up and become a qualified ICT Technician with access to a state-of-the-art IT setup. You'll learn the ropes of:
- β 1st Line Hardware & Software Support: Be the go-to person for fixing tech issues.
- π Call Logging: Keep track of all the important requests.
- π¦ Asset Management: Know what gear we've got!
- π§ General ICT Admin (with guidance): Get hands-on experience in day-to-day IT tasks.
- π‘ Other Cool ICT Services: Expand your skillset!
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
- Deliver top-notch 1st line tech support, troubleshoot like a pro, and do remote monitoring for our customers and schools. π»
- Log, manage, and crush incidents using our Service Management System β hitting those important deadlines is key! π―
- Be the main connection between our customers, our internal teams, and our awesome third-party suppliers. π£οΈ
- Keep an eye on support queues, escalate when needed, and help manage our assets and changes.
- Pitch in on exciting project work and help out the Network Manager with whatever comes up. π
- Crush your training programmes and stay up-to-date with Health & Safety, ISO, and company rules.
- Be a legend: keep things professional, organised, and always customer-first. π
Training Deets: You'll get remote training one day a week β you can do it from home or the office (we'll chat about it!). π‘

Your Entry Ticket (Qualifications):
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- *Important:* You shouldn't already have a qualification at this level or higher in a similar tech subject.

International Qualifications? No worries! Just make sure you have an official document showing how your qualifications compare to UK standards. π
The Nitty-Gritty:
- You'll need an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (including the Children's Barred List) every year. π‘οΈ
- Get ready to lift and move IT equipment β itβs a hands-on role! πͺ
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. β°

Key responsibilities
- Deliver first line technical support, troubleshooting, and remote monitoring services to customers and schools.
- Log, manage, and resolve incidents through the Service Management System, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Act as a key point of contact between customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
- Monitor support queues, escalate issues where required, and manage asset and change control activities.
- Support project work and assist with additional duties requested by the Network Manager.
