The Opportunity:
Are you ready to dive into the world of data, reporting, business systems, and cutting-edge technology? We're on the hunt for a Data Analyst Apprentice to join our dynamic IT Project Team! This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and build essential skills in Power BI, data quality, business systems, and process improvement. You'll be analysing, testing, documenting, and managing data alongside experienced pros, helping to maintain dashboards, ensure data accuracy, test reports, and document processes. What You'll Be Doing:
- Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Help keep Power BI reports and dashboards in tip-top shape. 📊
- Be the guardian of data accuracy, spotting and investigating any little hiccups. 🔎
- Test new and updated reports to make sure they're perfect before they go live. ✅
- Make simple report tweaks (think layout, wording, visuals) with a little guidance. 🎨
- Keep our report documentation, processes, and user guides clear and up-to-date. ✍️
- Data Quality & Analysis:
- Assist in collecting, organising, and preparing data for reporting and business needs. 📦
- Help maintain and update Item and Master Data within our business systems. 🔩
- Perform data quality checks to guarantee our information is accurate, complete, and consistent. 💯
- Support our Data Manager with Item/Part data administration in QAD MFG/Pro. 💻
- Jump into simple analysis tasks using tools like Excel and Power BI. 📈
- Learn how data powers decisions across the entire company. 💡
- Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Get a taste of awesome automation tools like Power Automate. 🤖
- Help pinpoint manual tasks that could be way better or simpler. 🚀
- Support small improvement projects, guided by our IT team. 🛠️

Entry Requirements:
- Standard Entry:
- A Level 3 qualification (like an apprenticeship, A-levels, or BTEC)
- OR equivalent work experience (around two years in a relevant role)
- PLUS:
- 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
- Experience using Excel (especially pivot tables and XLookup) and Microsoft products (or similar).
- We're flexible! If you have a mix of qualifications and experience that shows you've got the foundation, you could still be considered. 🌟

Your Work Week:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:45 pm. Enjoy 2 days of working from home each week after your initial few weeks in the office. 🏡🏢
