Oakfield Park School, an "outstanding education" provider (Ofsted 2019) in Wakefield, is looking for passionate young individuals to join our team for work experience! 🚀 We cater to students aged 11-19 with severe, complex, or profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Placement Options:

• Students aged 16-18: Immerse yourself in our Key Stage 3 department. 📚
• Students aged 19+: Gain experience in Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 departments. 🧑‍🏫

Important Notes:

• For students aged 19 and over, an enhanced DBS check is required for placements. 🛡️
• Students 19 and under without a DBS check can complete placements for a maximum of 10 days. ⏳

Key responsibilities

• Complete a work experience placement within the Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, or Post 16 departments.
• Adhere to all age-related department placement guidelines.
• Fulfil enhanced DBS check requirements if aged over 19 years.
• Observe placement duration limitations if 19 years and under without a DBS.
