Horton Housing is a passionate non-profit dedicated to providing vital housing services across West and North Yorkshire. Our YPASS (Young Persons’ Prevention and Support Service) specifically empowers young people aged 16-25 in Calderdale who are facing homelessness. We believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home.
Your Role:
As a Housing Support Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our YPASS team, directly impacting the lives of young people. You will assist our experienced staff with a variety of essential tasks to ensure our services run smoothly and effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rewarding sector. 🤝
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing assistance to staff members across a range of daily duties.
- Supporting the delivery of housing services to young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive environment for our service users.
- Learning and developing skills within the homelessness and housing support sector.
