What You'll Be Doing:
- Helping bring new apprentices on board. 👋
- Coaching and developing apprentices to nail their Advanced Apprenticeship. 💯
- Working with assessors to make sure apprentices get the qualifications they need. 📚
- Giving feedback to the site management team on apprentice progress. 📈
- Leading the apprentice team day-to-day, ensuring quality work and supervision. 🏗️
- Prioritising apprentice Health & Safety, making sure they follow all policies. 🛡️
- Managing the Labourer to support the team. 🤝
- Championing apprentices to achieve their NVQ Level II and III. ✨
- Pitching in on other site tasks as needed. 👷
- Attending important meetings. 📅
- Upholding company policies and procedures. ✅
- Taking on other reasonable tasks. 🔄
- Ensuring all COVID-19 health and safety measures are in place. 😷
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience as a time-served bricklayer. 🔨
- Experience managing teams, trainees, or apprentices. 👑
- A bricklaying apprenticeship (or equivalent). 🎓
- Full UK Driving Licence. 🚗
- Strong bricklaying knowledge. 🧠
- Solid understanding of construction site Health & Safety. 🚦
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire learners. ❤️🔥

Key responsibilities
- Assisting in the recruitment and induction of new Apprentices.
- Providing necessary coaching, learning, and development to Apprentices.
- Liaising with NVQ Assessors to obtain required qualification evidence.
- Day-to-day management and supervision of the Apprenticeship team.
- Managing Apprentices' Health & Safety and policy compliance.
