Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of manufacturing and engineering? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals aged 18+ to join our team as Fab/Weld Apprentices! This isn't just a job; it's your chance to gain hands-on experience and a Level 3 NVQ qualification, all while learning from the best. 🛠️
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll embark on a comprehensive training journey, split between college and our Gardner site. Get ready to master the practical and theoretical skills of fabrication and welding. You'll explore:
- Basic bench fitting and hand tool skills 💪
- Workshop safety protocols 🛡️
- Accurate measuring and marking out 📏
- Interpreting engineering drawings ✍️
- Various welding techniques: MIG, TIG, and MMA 🔥
- Flame cutting, forming, and rolling steel plate 🔄
- Sheet metal work 🔩
You'll learn to transform detailed drawings or even a simple sketch into a finished product that meets customer needs, demonstrating incredible precision and creativity.

Qualifications You'll Need:
- Four or five GCSEs (grade 4 or above), including Maths, English, Science, Engineering, or Design & Technology.
- OR equivalent qualifications such as:
- BTEC Certificate in Engineering
- BTEC Certificate and Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering (Mechanical)
- City & Guilds Certificate in Engineering
- EAL Certificate and Diploma in Engineering
