We're on the hunt for a motivated Technical Excellence Engineering Apprentice to dive into our innovative manufacturing environment. This 3-year Degree Apprenticeship (starting September 2025) is your chance to gain hands-on experience, tackle real-world problems, and work towards a BEng Hons in Applied Electrical/Electronic Engineering Systems. 🎓

Your Mission:

  • Support improvement projects for our IMMULITE products, focusing on testing and manufacturing. 💡
  • Use scientific and statistical skills to analyse data, identify issues, and find solutions. 📊
  • Own solution design, equipment specs, and present your findings. 💻
  • Help us reduce waste and boost quality in our production! ✨

What You Bring:

  • At least 5 GCSEs (grade 5/C or above) including English & Maths. 💯
  • 3 A Levels (or NVQ Level 3) at grade C or above, with one in Science, Tech, or Engineering. 🔬
  • A flexible, self-motivated attitude with awesome time management skills. ⏰
  • Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal. 🗣️
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. 💻
  • A genuine passion for the healthcare industry. ❤️
  • Eligibility to work in the UK for the full 3 years. 🇬🇧

Key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of improvement projects associated with testing and manufacturing variability.
  • Apply scientific and statistical principles and systematic processes to identify, collect and analyse testing and manufacturing data.
  • Assist in identifying root cause and determining appropriate solutions for improvement activities.
  • Take ownership of solution design and equipment specification, ensuring appropriate data analysis, presentation, planning, technical protocol development, and reporting.
  • Complete learning modules and projects, working towards achieving a BEng Hons in Applied Electrical/Electronic Engineering Systems.
